Chelsea Could Loose These Three Players After Premier League Resumes

Despite the coronavirus pandemic which has forced the Premier League to embark on a sudden break, players still negotiating their contract concerning their future.


Chelsea football club, are expected to loose these players in June as their deals with the London club expires.

Oliver Giroud,33 years old, Pedro Rodriquez 31 years old and Willian 31 years old are set to be a free a agent come June 2020 and the trio are above 30 years of age.

Chelsea under manager, Frank Lampard are building on the youths with likes of Mason Mount, Ross Barkley, Fikayo Tomori, Tammy Abraham, James have been featured in the squad for Blues.

Already, Chelsea have a policy of handing any player above 30 years not less than a year contract.

According to reports from Goal, Pedro and Willian want a two years deal.

But it's been learnt that Giroud has been playing second striker behind Tammy Abraham.

Frank Lampard have been given the chance to pick of the trio, as the Blues are available to hand only one of the three players an extension of not less than two years deal.


According to The Telegraph, Oliver Giroud is keen on a two years contract extension, as the French international has rejected a one years deal.

Chelsea are currently fourth on League table. The club is looking at a top four finish.

The FA had announced that the league is expected to resume to action in April 30th 2020.
