Commonwealth Speech: Anthony Joshua Hails Yoruba, Egusi Soup, Pounded Yam

Nigeria’s Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua was the Speaker at this year's Commonwealth Service which held today, 9th of March, 2020 in London.

During his speech, the British-Nigerian proudly said ” I am a proud Nigerian. I come from the Yoruba People who are the largest and some might say the loudest ethnic group in Africa”.[b]

He also made reference to his favorite Nigerian dish - Pounded Yam and Egusi Soup. The event was attended by the Queen and other top members of the Royal Family.
