1.NIN
This is also known as your National Identification Number.
It is a set of numbers assigned to Nigerian Citizens when they successfully complete the enrolment into the National Identity Management scheme.
To register and get your nin number, visit any nin office close to you.
And in the case of emergency, where you need your NIN urgently, simply dial *346# on your phone using any network (airtel or glo or mtn etc) and your NIN will display on your phone. However it will cost you only 20 naira.
2.BVN
This is known as your bank verification number.
It is an 11 digit number that acts as your universal ID in all commercial banks in Nigeria.
Your BVN ensures that your account is protected from unauthorized access and allows you to track all your transactions in any bank .
To register or get your bvn number, visit any of your banks.
However, in the case of emergency when you need your bvn urgently you can simply dial *565*0# on your mobile phone and your bvn will display on your screen.
3. TIN
This is also known as your Tax Identification Number.
Individuals are automatically assigned with a TIN based on their BVN (Bank Verification Number) or NIN (National Identity Number). To get a TIN as an individual, you need to have a NIN or BVN.
Then visit https://tinverification.jtb.gov.ng/Template/TINVerification
Follow the instructions and you'll get your TIN.
