The President of the Nigeria Football Federation Amaju Pinnick has said the Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr needs to improve on his man-management skills.
The NFF supremo said although the coach had done well since he took over the national team 2016, they have observed that there are still many areas of the job he needs to work on especially the way he manages his men.
Pinnick confirmed that the federation was yet to table a new contract to the coach as they hope to do a thorough job.
'The process of offering the coach a job is still on going. Our legal team is still putting together the deal and very soon our team will meet with Rohr and his representatives.
'We want to qualify for the Nations Cup and the World Cup; we know the importance of wrapping up this on time.
'The coach has done well, you can see the result; we know there are some areas he needs to improve on like the man-management but he has done well,' he said.
The coach and his employers have endured a strained relationship over the year and pundits believe that could be responsible for the reluctance on the part of the NFF to offer the coach a new contract.
