Manchester United star Jesse Lingard was filmed being subjected to sickening abuse including a racial slur from fans as he boarded the team bus after their FA Cup win over Derby County.
It was a successful night for Lingard and the Red Devils to keep their hopes of FA Cup glory alive – but the England ace was still on the receiving end of a torrent of abuse.
A clip circulated on social media showed him making his way onto the bus being met with a man repeatedly shouting: “F*** off, Jesse”, “Jesse, you’re s***” and “you’re w*** Jesse”.
Someone further back in the crowd then appears to shout the “n-word” in his direction.
Another man also mocks Lingard over the fact he is yet to record a goal or assist in the Premier League in 2019.
Lingard keeps his head down as he gets onto the coach and takes his seat, whilst a passenger already on board turns back towards the door and appears to stare at the two men abusing Lingard.
