Premier League Star Players Who Could Return After League Resumes In April

As the Premier League is currently on a break due to the coronavirus pandemic, some key players for different clubs are also recuperating.

The league is expected to return to action on April 30th 2020.

Although, clubs have cancelled their training this week, and players have been informed to train while self isolating at their homes.

The league has eleven games to end the season, in which Liverpool currently top the standing with a 25 points gap ahead of Manchester City in second.

While Leicester City and Chelsea make up the third and fourth spot.

Below is a list of players who could make return to help their club finish in a good position :


Alison Becker (Liverpool)


The Brazilian suffered a muscle injury last month which saw him miss the FA Cup loss against Chelsea and loss to Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.

Alison is expected to be ready when the season Resumes in April.

Recall that in July 2018, Liverpool signed Alison for €62.5 million (£56m); a world record fee for a goalkeeper at the time.

Tammy Abraham (Chelsea)


The 22 years old graduated from Chelsea academy in 2016. Due to lack of game time, he spent loan spells at Bristol, Aston Villa and Swansea City.

He has been struggling with fitness issues and Frank Lampard has preferred Oliver Giroud to start.

Tammy has bagged 13 goals in 25 appearances for the Blues.

Christian Pulisic (Chelsea)


Pulisic moved to Chelsea in a transfer $73 million from Borussia Dortmund in 2019.

He has sine scored five goals in sixteen appearances.

The Cheslea winger has been absent through injury since New Year's Day due to complications slowing his recovery.

He has since shown signs of improvement and will be ready for the Blues.

Marcus Rashford (Manchester United)


Marcus Rashford made he's debut in 2015 for the Red Devils. The academy graduate has played 133 appearances in the league with 41 goals.

Rashford who has been Manchester united points man this campaign suffered a hip injury in January which saw him ruled out until the end of the season.

But due to the coronavirus pandemic which has lead to changes in the schedule, he could arrive in time for Red Devils.

Harry Kane (Tottenham)



Tottenham Hotspur hope for a top finish and a silverware this campaign was cut short after their captain Harry Kane suffered an hamstring in January against Southampton.

The injury saw Kane ruled out of the season. With Jose Mourinho side short in attack, the defense weren't doing good as they were leaking goals.
