Arsenal FC left-back Kieran Tierney has uncovered leaving Celtic was "the hardest choice" of his life and that he "misses everything" about playing for his childhood club.

Tierney joined the Gunners from Celtic on Deadline Day in August a year ago for £25m - a record expense for a Scottish player.


However, the 22-year-old, who is a Lennoxtown foundation item, has conceded in a Q&A on Arsenal's authentic site that bidding farewell to the Scottish Premiership champions was extreme.


He stated: "I would state leaving Celtic was the hardest choice I'd at any point needed to make and I realized I would consistently miss Celtic regardless of what occurs throughout everyday life.

The 18-year-old Brazilian has scored 10 objectives in all rivalries this season, remembering three for the Premier League in his introduction battle for Arsenal.


Asked which youth player can be a world-mixer later on, the Scot answered: "I would state Martinelli.


"I think his appetite and drive and his ability together as one is all that anyone could need to be a world-class player for a long time.
