The transfer of Antoine Griezmann to Barca has remain under the consideration by many football pundits as the French hasn't been able to replicate his form while at Atletico Madrid.


Griezmann has only been able to find the back of the net eight times, with four assists in 26 league games since he joined the Catalan side.


While in the UEFA Champions League, he played seven games and has scored twice.

According to Goal, he has been linked to a move to Paris Saint-Germain as a possible swap for Neymar.

Pundits suggest he's has been unable to integrate to the Barcelona "tiki-taka" football culture at the Camp Nou.


Barcelona announced the signing of World Cup winner in 2019 for a fee of €120m from Atletico.

WHO IS ANTIONE GRIEZMANN?

Antione Griezmann is a product of Real Sociedad, he broke into the first team in 2009.

He went on to play 180 La Liga games for Sociedad, scoring 46 goals.

He reportedly spent five years at the club before top Europe clubs came calling for his signature.

Atlético Madrid completed a transfer fee of €30 million (£24 million) for Griezmann in 2014. He completed a six years deal to move to Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.

Griezmann thrived under Diego Simeone as he suits the manager ultra defensive pattern which has been criticised by many coaches.

He formed a good partnership with forwards such as Diego Costa, Alvaro Morata as they went as far as winning the league in Spain, winning the Europa League and reaching the final of the UEFA Champions League in 2010.

He played 180 games in La Liga and scored 94 goals.
