Cristiano Ronaldo has been snapped enjoying breakfast with his family at their luxury villa in Madeira during lockdown, with the president of CD Nacional revealing that he gave the superstar permission to undertake secret training sessions on the island.
The Juventus talisman is spending time with girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez at the £3.5k-a-week residence with football indefinitely suspended, and has also been attempting to remain fit by using a local stadium to train.
But after sparking widespread controversy, it has been revealed that Ronaldo was in fact granted the use of the facility by the nearby football club.

Ronaldo decided to leave his seven-storey home, valued at £7million, in Funchal and instead relocate his family during the escalating pandemic.
The former Real Madrid and Manchester United forward will be living in comfort during his time at the villa, with a series of photos showing that a swimming pool, games room and six bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, will be accessible.
The Portuguese international first revealed his new surroundings last week, after the 35-year-old posted makeshift training drills alongside his partner on social media.
And the tight-knit family were once again seen basking in the high life, with Georgina sharing a touching photo of the group having breakfast together on Instagram.
