Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his wife, Joke and other members of his family, have tested negative for Coronavirus.
The governor made the announcement on Friday morning via his Twitter page.
As a responsible leader, it was important that I get tested for #COVID19 to ensure nothing distracts me from my role of leading Lagos during this period. I am happy to announce that my result has returned NEGATIVE. My family and aides are negative as well. '' he tweeted
With 98 recorded cases, Lagos leads with the highest confirmed cases of the viral disease in Nigeria.
