However, there are many critics to the launching of the 5g network for many reasons as many scientist replied that it will cause a lot of harm to human beings (especially their health).
Some of the scientists spoke and their comments include:
“We, the undersigned scientists, recommend a moratorium on the roll-out of the fifth generation, 5G, for telecommunication until potential hazards for human health and the environment have been fully investigated by scientists independent from industry. 5G will substantially increase exposure to radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMF) on top of the 2G, 3G, 4G, WiFi etc. for telecommunications already in place. RF-EMF has been proven to be harmful for humans and the environment.”
One of the initiators is Dr. L. Hardell, Professor of Oncology at Örebro University in Sweden. He states: “The telecom industry is trying to roll out technology that may have very real, unintended harmful consequences. Scientific studies, both recently and over many years, have identified harmful effects on health when testing wireless products under realistic conditions. We are very concerned that the increase in radiation exposure by 5G leads to damage that cannot be reversed”.
The launching of the 5g network is no more a news, it’s now close to reality as many reasons for launching it were drafted which includes:
1. Greater speed in transmission: this means that the speed in transmission can approach 15 – 20Gbps.
2. A lower latency: In 5G the latency will be ten times less than in 4G, being able to perform remote actions in real time.
Thanks to this low latency and the increase of the sensors, it is possible to control the machinery of an industrial plant, control logistics or remote transport, surgical operations in which the doctor can intervene a patient who is at another side of the world with the help of precision instrumentation managed remotely or the complete control of remote transport systems, automated and without driver.
3. Greater capacity of remote execution.
4. A greater number of connected devices and the possibility of implementing virtual networks: Through the 5g network, a lot of mobile phones, computer and many more devices can connect to the internet at the sane time.
5. Providing more adjusted connectivity to concrete needs.
