Stella Damascus and Doris Simon put their differences aside to celebrate David's 12th birthday

David, the son of estranged couple, Daniel Ademinokan and Doris Simeon, is 12 today and he has received showers of messages of how much he is loved from not just his parents but also his step mum, Stella Damasus.


Recall that David was taken away to the US by his dad and movie director, Daniel Ademinokan to live with him and his new wife, Stella Damasus when he was just two years.

He however let him be reunited with his mum, Doris Simeon, again in 2018 after series of online attacks from fans.


Celebrating his 12th birthday today, Doris Simeon who has quit Nollywood to become a full time hair dresser in the US, shared a video of her grown son with an emotional story of how he was birth and her love for him.


“My little man my Alhfa (like u call urself 😁😁😍) growing into that inquisitive teenager of mine. When I opened my eyes 6am on this very day that u came into this world of mine at the hospital my first question to ur dad was is he black 🤣🤣🤣 he laughter and said for ur mind Na afin u born o 🤣🤣,


I cudnt laugh out well cos of my CS stitches pain and I said awwww can I just see my baby cos I can’t wait for him to start sucking the breast that I have been practicing on how to feed him Ever since I knew I was pregnant.


But it was a lie I wanted to see u so bad hold u so bad to tell u, how I will love u till the end of time, u were so small and peaceful and that’s why I thank God for giving me a peaceful loving so reasonable brilliant little Man like U. U make me happy anytime I was told how well u r doing in school and u show me u will never relent and be great, greater me and ur father. God bless my love my heartbeat my world. U melt my heart u say u r the best mum in the world. U r indeed a blessing to ur generation David oritseseundede Ademinokan HAPPY 12th BIRTHDAY 🎂 🎂 love of my life #davidademinokan

Also, Stella Damasus, his step mum also shared photos of the celebrant showering him with kind words


In her words:

“How time flies. I can’t believe you are 12 already. Love you too too much boo boo.”


She further wrote in another post “Happy birthday to the most handsome young man I know. As you turn 12 today, may God’s light continue to shine on you. May you continue to be the star and the best in all you do. You make parenting so easy. A gentle, obedient, sweet son. I am so proud of you. We all love you. Your daddy, your mummy, your sisters and I. God bless you my son.”

And then shared a video of him, herself and Daniel Ademinokan, having fun to show how happy they are.

Daniel Ademinokan on the other hand wrote “Meeeeeen!!! Feels like this big man here was born just yesterday. It’s as if I slept and woke up and he just turned 12. Happy Birthday to you DAVID “The Great” ADEMINOKQN. I am so so so so so happy and proud of the young man you have grown to be, and I look forward to the Amazing Man you will become.
May your days forever be filled with joy, laughter, sunshine, hope, grace, peace, testimonies, blessings and wisdom.

May your light continue to shine and may your life always mirror the goodness of God. I pray that your smile continues to be infectious & your laughter contagious as always.

Daniel Ademinokan, a Nollywood movie director, was married to actress Doris Simeon and the union produced a son. He however left Doris, travelled abroad and put up with Stella, a widow of late Jaiye Aboderin, who had two daughters for the deceased.
