Chelsea have reportedly granted N’Golo Kante permission to miss the second day. 


This is due to the midfielder’s fears over the Premier League season restarting amid the coronavirus crisis.

Recall that on Monday, the Premier League clubs decided that players can resume group training. 

The 29 years old returned to training at Chelsea’s Cobham training complex during Tuesday’s session. 

Also, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Marcus Alonso, Willian, Giroud were among some players that took part in the group training. 


Days ago,  Premier League confirmed six cases of COVID-19 were found in the first round of testing of 748 players and staff. 

But according to Metro.co.uk, Kante’s test was not one of those that came back positive.


However, The Telegraph reports Kante has major concerns about training during the pandemic. 


The West London club had decided to grant him permission to miss Wednesday’s session.


Recollect that yesterday, two players tested positive for coronavirus among Premier League club, Watford Football club.

Already, the captain of the club, Troy Deeney has voiced his concern over resuming training. The forward didn't show up for Tuesday's training as he's not in support of players returning to training at the moment.
