Pop singer, Katy Perry has opened up on her mental health struggles and overcoming depression following her album flop in 2017.
According to the singer, she released her fourth solo album, Witness, in June 2017, and the album flopped.
The 35-year-old revealed on the Daily Telegraph's JMO podcast said:
'I'm so grateful I'm not a drug addict,' she told host Jonathon Moran.
'I went on a journey to adopt some good tools so I didn't have to lean so far into pharma,' she said.
Katy revealed some of the 'tools' she uses to manage her mental health include 'mediation' and 'childhood trauma therapy'.
The Roar singer added that she was 'fully supported' by her fiance Orlando Bloom.
'There were some pretty dark days and I think that was pretty evident on my last record and what I was going through publicly,' she added.
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are expecting their first child together.
