Earlier today, the BBC awards went down. Liverpool stars dominated the Premier League XI, with Manchester City having De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero in the cut.

Alexander-Arnold was the top overall vote getter for team of the season with 72% of right back votes while at left back Andy Robertson got 55%. The top five in voting by position was rounded out by Sadio Mané, Virgil van Dijk, and again Man City’s De Bruyne.
Alisson made the team in goal along with Henderson in midfield and Mohamed Salah up top. Sergio Aguero was named striker while Çağlar Söyüncü slotted into the back line and Henderson was joined in midfield by De Bruyne and United’s Bruno Fernandes.
