Mkhitaryan Reflects On Scoring The Winning Goal For Man Utd In Europa Final In 2017

Former Manchester United star, Henrikh Mkhitaryan took time to reminisce on the Europa League final win against Ajax in 2017.


Manchester United defeated Ajax in the final of tẹ Europa League under José Mourinho in 2017.

Recollect that The Armenian joined Manchester United for a fee of £30m from Dortmund in 2016. 
Jose Mourinho managed the Old Trafford outfit to reached the Stockholm final.

Although, Manchester United finished outside the top four that season but Jose ensured that a win in the final against Ajax, saw United gain a place in the Champions League the following season. 


Goals from Paul Pogba and Mkhitaryan ensured the Red Devils pick up two trophies under Jose Mourinho as well as Champions League qualification.


Mkhitaryan has since left United for Arsenal for a swap deal which saw Alexis Sanchez join Old Trafford in return in 2018.
Armenian released a series of photos on his Instagram story to mark the three-year anniversary. 

He also sent a message to former Red Ander Herrera, Pogba and United fans. Also, he dedicated his goal celebration to his father. 

Since Mkhitaryan joined Arsenal he has struggled for form and fitness as he fell down thr pecking order under former coach, Unai Emery. 

He was eventually loaned to AS Roma in the Serie A.

There are reports that he wants to make a permanent switch to Roma as he seems to have settle at the Club. 

It's left for Arsenal and the manager, Mikel Arteta if Mkhitaryan still in their plan.
