ormer Super Eagles of Nigeria star, Finidi George reportedly made LaLiga’s African All-time Eleven list.
It was gathered that the Africa LaLiga All-time best list includes past and present players.
The list was compiled by SuperSports and published on their verified Twitter handle on Thursday, May 14th 2020.
The list is a five minutes video of the selected players.
Finidi’s made the cut following his outstanding performance during his spell with Real Betis.
Finidi moved to La Liga to join Betis from Dutch giants Ajax in 1996.
Finidi made 130 League appearances for Betis and scored 38 goals, between 1996 - 2000.
He was instrumental to Betis reaching thr final of the Copa del Rey which they lost 3-2 after extra-time to Barcelona.
Finidi also played for Mallorca from 2000–2001, with 31 La Liga appearances, he found the back of the net 5 times, before he moved to England to join Ipswich Town.
Meanwhile, Cameroon legends Samuel Eto’o and Jacque Songo’o, Yaya Toure of Cote d’Ivoire and Mali’s Seydou Keita also were among the big names that made the cut.
Likewise South Africa’s Benni McCarthy, Frederic Kanoute of Mali, Cameroon’s Lauren Etame Meyer and Morocco’s Noureddine Naybet completed the starting eleven.
