Danny Rose has made it clear that he would like to play for Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers before he ends his career.

Danny Rose is currently on loan at Newcastle but has just 13 months left on his Tottenham deal

The Tottenham left-back is currently on loan at Newcastle. He has 13 months left on his contract at Spurs.

Rose played during a loan spell at Watford in the 2008-09 under Bredan Rogers.


'Getting to work with him for two months was brilliant,' said Rose. 'As an 18 or 19-year-old, I had never experienced training sessions like that before. 


'His ideas in training... it was brilliant and I have always said that he is somebody I would love to play for again.' 

Ben Chilwell is currently Leicester's No 1 left back but had attracted interest from Chelsea


When asked whether he would seek a move to Leicester, Rose joked to the Lockdown Tactics podcast: 'Someone will have to buy Ben Chilwell first.' 

Ben Chilwell is currently Leicester's No 1 left back. He is under contract until 2024 with the Foxes.
