Giggs and Neville were among the Manchester United's famous Class of 92.

Recall that team won the treble in 1992 season, including the famous UEFA Champions League title after beating Bayern Munich in the final.

Speaking on The Football Show on Sky Sports, Neville said: 'With Glenn, you weren't allowed butter on your toast, weren't allowed milk with your cereal in the morning, things like that.

'I remember Giggsy later in his career, when we were starting to learn about nutrition, and I asked him, 'what would you do if you were in bad form?'

He made his professional debut for Manchester United in 1991. He spent 23 years at Old Trafford. He won 13 Premier League titles, four FA Cups, three League Cups, two UEFA Champions League titles and a FIFA Club World Cup.

Neville who played along with Giggs added: 'He said, 'I'd take the butter off my toast to get that extra 0.01 per cent.'

'Glenn was doing that in 1997 and 1998, he was prescribing what we would eat, how we would train. It was really, really detailed. He was prescribing every detail.'

Wales international announced his retirement from football in 2014.

In 2014, Giggs was named as assistant manager under Moyes as Manchester United when Sir Alex Ferguson retired.

He also replaced Louis van Gaal who was sacked in 2014, until the club appointed Jose Mourinho at the end of the 2014/2015 campaign.

He is currently the manager of the Wales national team and a co-owner of Salford City.
