Arsenal’s most experienced physio, Paulo Barreira departs the club, Lucas Torreira cries out

This isn't good news for the Gunners at the moment, as it's been gathered that Arsenal’s physio has left the Emirates. 

The physio identified as Paulo Barreira, made the announcement through his Twitter account on departing the north London club. 

According to reports, The physiotherapist joined Arsenal two years ago. This was as at the time Unai Emery was incajrge of the team.

Following the sacking of former Sevilla and Paris Saint-Germain coach last year, Paulo chose to stay despite the Gunners letting go of most of Unai backroom staff. 

Arsenal has been reshuffling their backroom staff lately. But the physio’s departure came as a surprise to many fans of the club. Although, the reason behind his decision to leave after two years has been revealed. 

Paulo Barreira spent some of his time in Liverpool‘s backroom before he move to the Emirates in 2018.

It's been gathered that Arsenal's midfielder, Lucas Torreira reacted to his departure, as he thanked Paulo Barreira. The midfielder gave the Portuguese star the best of his wishes.

“Thank you very much for everything, my friend. I wish you the best for your future, "he tweeted.
