Cedric Soares reacts after signing long term deal with Arsenal

Cedric Soares have confirmed his deal with Arsenal. Earlier today the north London side announced that Portuguese international has signed a long term deal .

Soares joined Arsenal for £1m on a season loan from Southampton but he has been struggling with injuries and hasn't made any appearance.

Taking to his page, he appreciates the fans for their support despite being injured. He vowed to work hard to get back to fitness.

He tweeted: "I'm delighted to announce that I have signed a long term deal to stay at @Arsenal. I've been really frustrated with how injuries have kept me off the pitch so far, but I'm working as hard as I can to return as soon as possible.

"Thank you to all those who have supported me. Let's go, Gunners!"
