It's been gathered that the West London side is aiming at keeping their players fit and in perfect shape shape. The league is expected to return on June 17th and Chelsea are concerned about their players' nutrition despite coronavirus restrictions.
According to the Sun, Chelsea carteen staff have been delivering meals to their stars' cars after training.
If you recollect, players have been banned from using the carteen and other services in the training ground as part of Project Restart restrictions.
Players are obliged to train on the pitch and head back home on daily basis.
The Sun claims that Chelsea's kitchen staff have been preparing food while Frank Lampard and his players after their training. It's been reported that the meals are kept in players' cars for them to take home.
Apparently, outstanding games such as Aston Villa vs Sheffield United and Manchester City vs Arsenal will kick off the restart of the season in the Premier League on June 17.
The other games will now kick off on June 19th 2020 as the Blues travel to Villa Park to face Aston Villa.
Chelsea are currently fourth on the league table with 48 points.
