The shot stopper for Sheffield United have been in sublime form for Chris Wilder side before the season was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The English international saves during games have gotten the attention of many top Premier League clubs.
If you recall that Henderson spent the last two seasons on loan at Sheffield United. He was with the Blades when they earned promotion to the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Manchester United coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has tipped that Henderson to become number one shot stopper for the Red Devils and England national team in future.
“Dean has made some great choices over the years and has developed fantastically,” the United boss told the Mirror. “We’re looking at that in terms of where he’s going to be next season, but as yet that has not been decided".
Although, the Reds boss refused to state whether the 23-year-old would again be loaned back to Bramall Lane in the following season.
He added: “This season has proved a great experience for him, he’s done himself some favours with his performances and proved he will be England’s No.1 and Man United’s No.1 at some point.”
Just so you know, Manchester United currently have first choice David De Gea who recently signed a new four-year £200,00 a week contract earlier this season.
Sheffield United are currently leaving their dream as they occupy 7th position in the league standing with 43 points and are five points from the top four. Chris Wilder side are in the race to seal a ticket for European football next campaign.
