"I hope this can flourish" - Solskjaer gushes over Martial and Fernandes partnership

Managers are always delighted to see their players in top form and putting put their outstanding performance on the pitch. It seems to be the case of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the moment. 


Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has expressed his joy of seeing his attackers show off their sharpness in training.

The coach of Red Devils has praised the form and understanding of Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes during training.



Speaking with Premier League Productions, he said: "Anthony’s had a difficult season with injuries but he started the season really well and he’s finishing off well, the season’s not finished yet but he did really well towards the end. 

"He’s working hard and for me Anthony was on the way to his best season at Manchester United so let's see if he finishes it off and kicks on again." 

If you recall that Red Devils completed the deal for Sporting Lisbon captain, Fernandes for £65m in January window.

He reportedly won the player of month award in January and was also named in BBC team of the season. 
Bruno Fernandes and Anthony Martial have 'hit it off' since the Portuguese arrived at the club


He added: "Tony and Bruno [Fernandes] have hit it off together so it’s a partnership that we hope can flourish.

"We knew he was a quality player and knew that when he came in he would have an impact straight away but you never know if he’s going to settle early in a new country but he’s taken to it like a duck to water."

Anthony Martial has scored 10 Premier League goals in 27 appearances this season for the Old Trafford outfit.

It's been confirmed that the Premier League will resume back after three months on June 17th.

While Manchester United will travel to London to play North London side, Tottenham on June 19th.
