Tottenham won the London derby on Tuesday. Spurs recorded a 2-0 win against West Ham at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.
It was Jose Mourinho first win since the league restarted on June 17.
Meanwhile, the highlights of the game was Harry Kane getting his name on the score sheet for the second goal.
Jose Mourinho who had been criticized for being too defensive in the 1-1 draw against Manchester United last week Friday, as Kane was playing too deep and wasn't able to get a shot on target all through.
For the West Ham clash, Jose welcome back Dele Alli who was suspended for one day, Lucas Moura returned from injury and both players started in attack with Heung Mi Son.
Son had scored just before half time but VAR ruled it out for offside.
Kane scored his first goal in 2020, after returning from injury he suffered in January against Southampton, which Spurs lost 2-1.
The English international was ruled out for the season but took advantage of the break and made a swift recovery.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Kane said: "As a striker, it's what you want to do, you want to score goals, you want to help win games.
"I'm happy to get back on the scoresheet. It was a tough game, it took us a while to break them down. Obviously we had a few chances before we scored the first one, then it was nice to finish it off at the end."
Harry Kane made his 200th Premier League appearance for Tottenham on the night which also saw him grab his 137th goals for Spurs.
He added: "When you've been out for over six months, it's getting that feeling back on the pitch. You can train as much as you want, but being out here is totally different. I had a few I probably should have scored – definitely one other – but it was nice to put that one away.
"I've been working very hard all through my rehab, through the lockdown and the warm-up games leading to the first Premier League game. I feel as fit as I've ever done before."
The win for Tottenham moves them within a point of fifth-placed Manchester United who will face Sheffield United today and sixth-placed Wolves.
Jose Mourinho and is Tottenham's side continue to keep their hope of finishing in spot for Champions League football next season.
Kane continued: "It's been a good chance to rest, recover and work on a few things I haven't been able to over the years. I'm feeling in good shape.
"I'm someone who, whether I score or not, miss chances, I'm always ready for the next one. I don't think it bothers me too much. But scoring is one of the best feelings in the world. It's been a while since I've done it. It's great to get that."
The English international also spoke on his side next game, which will see the north London side face Chris Wilder's side. Sheffield United lost 3-0 in their last game against Newcastle.
According to Kane: "We've got a little rest now – it's Sheffield United next in a big game – so hopefully we can continue from this win and take it into the rest of the games."
