I don't have problem with His tactics - Kane defends Mourinho

Harry Kane has come to defend his manager, Jose Mourinho following critics that the Portuguese "is too defensive".


Harry Kane scored in the 82nd-minute after an own goal from Tomas Soucek had given Spurs the lead at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

Tottenham recorded a 2-0 win against West Ham in the London derby and it was a record for Jose Mourinho who has done a double on West Ham.

Earlier in the day, popular pundit Paul Merson's claims about his negative style. He went ahead to take a dig at the former Chelsea boss, saying his style of football doesn't suit Harry Kane.

Soaking to BBC, Kane said: 'I've got no problem with how the manager plays. He's here to win, we're here to win games.obviously this season, to get into the Champions League and next season to progress and try to win something.

'People, pundits have their opinions in terms of how I feel, I feel really good. I'm positive, in really good shape and like I say, I can only do what I do and try not to listen to the noise outside.'


Kane made his 200th appearances for Tottenham during the game, while his forward partner Lucas Moura made his 100th appearances.

It was the fist time that Jose Mourinho would have Kane, Alli and Moura available after Kane picked up an harmstring in January.

The three points against West Ham sees Spurs move to seventh on the league standings and are six points off fourth-placed Chelsea, who will face Manchester City on Thursday.
