Arsenal suffered another loss against Brigg Hove Albion as well as loosing their goalkeeper Bernd Leno .




The Gunners played their second away game on Saturday afternoon kick off at the AMEX stadium.

Mikel Arteta side were coming from the 3-0 loss against Manchester City on Wednesday.

Arteta had started Aubameyang and his striking partner Lacazette and Nicolas Pepe.

The fans of the north London club were left stunned after Leno was stretched off . The Germany international was furious with Maupay after he landed awkwardly on his right leg following a collision with the forward. 

Emiliano Martinez was called upon as a direct replacement for Leno who was stretched off in the first half.

After the hour mark, Arsenal took the lead from a goal scored by Nicolas Pepe but Arsenal's defense failed to clear their lines as Dunk grabbed the equaliser.

Maupay who scored the winning goal in the 90th minutes for Brighton has come out to slam the Gunners.

He revealed he never meant to injure their goalkeeper but said that Arsenal players need to be humble.

Speaking to BT Sport, he said: "At half time I went to the manager Mikel Arteta to apologise. I never meant to injure the keeper. I jumped for the ball.I apologise to the team and to him as well. I have been through a bad injury, it is hard."

If you recall that during the game against Manchester City on Wednesday night, Mikel Arteta lost Granit Xhaka and Pablo Mari to injuries in the first half.

Maupay added: "Arsenal players maybe need to learn humility sometimes. They were talking a lot. They got what they deserved."
