James Milner express sadness after injury against Everton

James Milner was only able to play 40 minutes in the Merseyside derby on Sunday. He was substituted due to an injury.

Everton held Liverpool to a goalless draw on Sunday at the Goodson park.

Taking to his pages he expressed his disappointment of not being available to play all 90 minutes.

He tweeted: "Gutted to be missing out on the Anfield return... tough game tomorrow, but the boys can get us one step closer 💪🏻🔴 #weareliverpool"

Jurgen Klopp drafted the English International to the left back position as Andy Rone was not fit.

Milner was replaced by Gomez who slotted to the left back position, bit it's been learnt that Robertson will be back for Wednesday night game against Crystal Palace.
