Alaves defeated Real Sociedad two goals to nil as both sides ended with ten men each.
Both goals were scored in the second half of the game.
Sainz scored for Alaves in the 56th minutes and Aguirregabiria added the second in the 90th minutes.
Zaldua and Pina were sent off for both sides respectively.
