Kadewere, Joined Lyon in January from Ligue 2 side, Le Havre. He was their the leading scorer in Ligue 2 with 18 goals before he joined Lyon.
Zimbabwe's Tino Kadawere began his career at Harare FC.
Kadawere, who has also played in Sweden for Djugardens, has 15 international caps and was part of the Warriors squad at the Africa Cup of Nations last year in Egypt.
The 24-year-old has reportedly signed for $16.6 million on a four-and-a-half-year deal but he was loaned back to the Ligue2 side.
Tino Kadewere: "I'm right-footed but I've scored more with my left. Everyone has a stronger side but I think footballers should be able to play with both feet."
He added: "I like having the ball at my feet, and I'm pretty quick with it. I like to be useful and help my team-mates. My performances in training will give me the opportunity to play in matches."
