Mikel Arteta and his Arsenal team wore "Black Lives Matter" shirt

Just before the friendly against Brentford today, the Gunners joined in the support of the Black Lives Matter campaign.

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta lead his team spotting the black top with the inscription, "Black Lives Matter". 

Following the death of George Floyd, many have stood up against the suggested unfair treatment of blacks. 

Arsenal were beaten 3-2 by Championship side in a friendly which was played behind closed doors.

Premier League clubs agreed for friendly games to be played in order to build players fitness ahead of the league resumption on June 17th. 

Arsenal will open the Premier League flood lights with their outstanding game against Manchester City in June the 17th.

Mikel Arteta still hope a slim chance of qualifying for European football next campaign as they currently occupy the ninth position with eight points away from the top four spot.
