Obaseki picks his deputy, Philip Shaibu as his running mate for PDP

Edo State governor and flag bearer of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Godwin Obaseki, has picked his deputy governor, Philip Shaibu, as his running mate ahead of the September 19 governorship election.

Obaseki said he and his deputy are grateful to the PDP for accepting them after the All Progressives Congress (APC) went against them and kicked them out.
