Obaseki set run as PDP governorship aspirant as Kenneth Imasuagbon steps down

Mr. Kenneth Imasuagbon, has reportedly stepped down for Governor Godwin Obaseki in Thursday’s primary of people's Democratic Party, PDP, primaries.

The party is carrying out their governorship primary election in Benin today .

Imasuagbon has stepped down from the contest where 2,229 delegates will choose the PDP gubernatorial flagbearer, voting will still go on for affirmation of Obaseki’s candidacy.
