Pogba and Fernandes starred in Man Utd midfield despite loss to West Brom in friendly

Manchester United lost one and won the other of their two friendlies with promotion chasing West Brom on Friday. 

If you recall that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer side saw their friendly with Stoke City called off earlier this week when opposition manager Michael O’Neill tested positive for corona virus.

It was gathered that Bruno Fernandes paired in midfield with Paul Pogba in the first game.

According to Dail Mail, goals from Matt Phillips and striker Kenneth Zohore to run out 2-1 winners.

Meanwhile Solskjaer put out two strong sides at Old Trafford as United played two games of 90 minutes with the first game kicking off around 1pm and the second two hours later.

United won the second game three goals to one as Solskjaer fielded a stronger side.
