It's been gathered that Paris Saint-Germain defender Layvin Kurzawa joined the mass protest in France against the death of a black man in French police custody.

If you recall, Adama Traore was 24 years old when he was arrested while riding on a bike with his brother in 2016.

He died in police custody in a station in the suburbs of Paris, leading to his parents to file a wrongful death complaint.

After three previous reports attempted to put the cause of death down to heart disease or infection, a medical-judicial report on Tuesday finally confirmed that Traore's death had been caused by asphyxiation.

This ruling, delivered in the same week in which protests and riots continue across the United States following the death of George Floyd, resulted in over 20,000 people taking to the streets in Paris, among them Kurzawa.

The France international posted pictures to his Twitter timeline of the Black Lives Matter rally, including one of himself holding a placard which read: 'Stop racism'.

Along with his pictures, Kurzawa posted the message: 'Justice for Adama, justice for George, justice for all. Today I saw a France that marches together.'

Kurzawa wore a T-shirt with the slogan 'Fear of a Black Planet' written on the back as he joined the throng of anti-racism activists.
