Real Madrid star, Marcelo dedicated his goal against Eibar to late George Floyd

Real Madrid star Marcelo show off his support for the Black Lives Matter movement while celebrating his strike against Eibar in La Liga on Sunday.

It was learnt that Marcelo put the Spanish giants 3-0 up after 37 minutes after latching onto a rebound after Eden Hazard was denied in front of goal.

Marcelo celebrated by taking the knee in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.

Protests around the world following the death of George Floyd in America have resulted in the publicity of the Black Lives Matter movement, with football clubs and players using their platform to speak out against racial inequality and police brutality.

Mr Floyd tragically died in Minneapolis after having a knee pressed into his neck for more than eight minutes while being detained by white police officer Derek Chauvin last month.
