Sofia Richie wishes her mom Diane 'happy 53rd birthday" while spotting cowboy hat with leopard pant

Sofia Richie took to Instagram on Monday evening to wish her mother Diane Richie a Happy 53rd Birthday. 

'Today was my favorite person's Birthday. Love you so much @dianekrichie,' captioned the 21-year-old model.

Along with her sweet text, Sofia included a mirror photo of herself and Diane donning woven cowboy hats as they playfully posed for the camera.

Diane was married to Sofia's father and music legend Lionel Richie, 70, from 1995 until their divorce in 2004.

The former couple also share 26-year-old son Miles who, like his sister Sofia, is a working model.
