Throwback Video: Arsenal Thrashed Sheffield 6-0 As Vela Scored His First Hat Trick

Here is a throwback clip of how Arsenal thumped Sheffield United 6-0. It was in the League Cup formally called Carling cup fourth round back in 2008.

Former club manager, Arsene Wenger lined up a squad with most youth players in the EFL cup that campaign.

Jack Wishere, at 16, scored his first goal becoming the second youngest Arsenal player behind Cesc Fabregas to score a goal.

Also, Nicklas Bendtner scored two goals while Carlos Vela was the headline as he bagged his first hat trick.

Fast forward to 2020, Arsenal will travel to Ramolane to face Sheffield United on Sunday. The FA Cup game is expected to kick off at 1pm GMT.
