Arsenal fans can breathe a sign of relieve as their midfield mystro has made a recovery from injury.


Ahead of the Guuners mid week game against Norwich City, the medical team of the club have revealed two players have recovered and might feature for the team.

Arsenal will host Norwich City at the Emirates on Wednesday evening. The game is expected to kick off a 6pm GMT.

It's understood that Lucas Torreira who is known for his combative skills in the middle of the park has returned to training.

Also, Cedric Soares who is yet to feature for Arsenal has recovered from a facial injury suffered in training. If you recall that full back joined on loan from Southampton but Mikel Arteta has made the Portuguese international deal permanent.

Arsenal's highest paid player, Mesut Özil and their most experienced defender David Luiz are set for late fitness test.

Özil is yet to feature since the season restarted while David who recently signed a year extension was substituted during the 2-1 win against Sheffield in the FA Cup quarter final over the weekend.

Meanwhile, likes of Pablo Mari, Bernd Leno, Callum Chambers and Gabriel Martinelli remians long term absentees.

Back in full training and available for selection following facial injury.

Lucas Torreira
Back in full training and being assessed ahead of Norwich City (h) on Wednesday.

Mesut Ozil
Being assessed ahead of Norwich City (h) on Wednesday, following back soreness.

David Luiz
Right knee. Being assessed ahead of Norwich City (h) on Wednesday.
Bernd Leno
Right knee. Sustained moderate ligament sprain during Brighton & Hove (a) on June 20. Aiming to return to full training in approximately four weeks.
Pablo Mari
Left ankle. Sustained significant sprain to ankle ligaments during Manchester City (a). Has had a successful procedure to the injury this week. Aiming to return to full training in two to three months.
Gabriel Martinelli
Left knee. Sustained injury during training on June 21. Successful arthroscopic procedure undertaken to repair a lesion in the cartilage of the left knee. Will not be available for the current schedule of remaining 2019/20 matches.

Calum Chambers
Left knee. Ruptured anterior cruciate ligament of his left knee during Chelsea (h) on December 29. Rehabilitation post-surgical repair continuing and currently progressing well with running and gym work. Will not be available for the current schedule of remaining 2019/20 matches.
