Two tennis stars have tested positive for Coronavirus after their participation in Novak Djokovic's Adria Tour.
Former world No 3 and Bulgarian star, Grigor Dimitrov first revealed on Sunday that he tested positive for the virus just moments before world No 1 Novak Djokovic was due to take on Andrey Rublev in the final of the Adria Tour exhibition series in Croatia. The final clash was cancelled as those involved were asked to get tested.
Announcing his positive test, Dimitrov wrote on Instagram: 'Hi Everyone-I want to reach out and let my fans and friends know that I tested positive back in Monaco for Covid-19. I want to make sure anyone who has been in contact with me during these past days gets tested and takes the necessary precautions. I am so sorry for any harm I might have caused. I am back home now and recovering. Thanks for your support and please stay safe and healthy. GD.'
Also Croatian tennis player Borna who faced Dimitrov on Saturday announced that he has also tested positive for COVID-19.
