Arsenal are sweating on the fitness of their inform defender ahead of a cup final in few weeks to come.
The Gunners will face Chelsea in a London derby in the final of the FA Cup on August 1st.
Both Frank Lampard and Mikel Arteta are hoping to pick up their first trophy in their first season as managers.

The Gunners will face Watford on Sunday in their final game of the campaign. As it stands, Arsenal cannot finish higher than eighth with a win against relegation side, Watford. It will be the club's worst league finish since 1995.
Arteta believes Mustafi will not be fit for the game against Watford but he's hopeful for Chelsea game.
Speaking during his press conference, he said: "I doubt it. I don't know. We have to see how he evolves in the next few days. At the moment, I doubt it."
Recall that the German defender suffered a hamstring injury in the 2-0 win over Pep Guardiola's side, Manchester City last week.
Mustafi also to missed Tuesday night’s 1-0 defeat at Aston Villa.
