Mikel Arteta has handed a good news to Arsenal fans with the transfer news of their star man, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.
The Gunners recorded a 4-0 win against Norwich as Aubameyang was gifted two goals as well as giving assist to Granit Xhaka before Cedric Soares marked his debut with a goal.
Aubameyang reached 50 Premier League goals in 79 appearances - making him the fastest Arsenal player to make it to the landmark.
"He is willing to stay with us," Arteta said. "He is really happy where he is.
The Gabonese international joined Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund in 2018. He is currently in his finally year of his contract and top clubs in Europe have been on alert for him.
Arteta added: "He can see what we are trying to do and hopefully he can evolve as well some parts of his game he might feel he can improve. We are pushing him every day.
The manager further said he will leave the rest to the club to decide the player's future.
In his words: "I leave that to the football club and the senior people that finalise the contracts."
