Former Bayern Munich legend Oliver Kahn has welcomed Leroy Sane to the Allianz Arena.


The 24 years old winger completed his five years deal for a fee of 54.8m euros from Manchester City.

Kahn played for Bayern Munich from 1994-2008.

He tweeted: "Welcome to Munich, @LeroySane19! We are thrilled to be able to welcome another member of the @DFB_Team and a world-class winger to @FCBayern. We have big goals - Leroy brings us one step closer to achieving them ⚪🔴 #MiaSanMia #WeiterImmerWeiter'

Oliver Rolf Kahn is a German former football goalkeeper. He started his career in the Karlsruher SC Junior team in 1975. Twelve years later, Kahn made his debut match in the professional squad

In 1994, he was transferred to Bayern Munich for the fee of DM4.6 million, where he played until the end of his career in 2008. He won eight Bundesliga titles, six DFB-Pokals, the UEFA Cup in 1996, the UEFA Champions League and the Intercontinental Cup, both achieved in 2001.
