Frank, who is hoping to guide the Bees to promotion from the Championship, decided to use the whiteboard with his players during the now regular drinks break, against Charlton at Griffin Park.

With the visitors leading through an early goal, the tactical talk seemed to work as two late goals secured three vital points for Brentford in the battle for promotion to the Premier League. 

The use of drinks breaks as chances for coaches to talk tactics is a source of much debate



Brentford are now just two points behind second-placed West Brom in the Championship table, though they have played a game more.
