Leicester City, James Maddison has taken to his Twitter to praise the Spainsh international.
He wrote: "Sorry but David Silva is a true @premierleague great. Have so much respect for him. Admire his character and ability. Genius at work and will miss watching him, won’t miss playing against him whatsoever 😂👍🏼🐐"
The 34 years old contract will expire at the end of the campaign which will see him 10 years at the club come to an end.
Recall he joined Manchester City in 2010. He has gone to play over 400 games and has won two FA Cups, five League Cups and four Premier League titles.
Manchester City defeated Bournemouth 2-1 , with David Silva scored opened with a wonderful free-kick and then found Jesus for City's excellent second.
Although, Brooks pulled a goal back for the Cherries late in the game.
