Manchester City have endured a difficult season in the Premier League hsben lost their title defense to Liverpool.

If you recall that The Citizens were the defending Champions of the league haven won it back to back.

But a loss to Chelsea two weeks ago confirmed Liverpool Champions following a 25 points gap between them with four games left to play.

Pep Guardiola have stated that he's side are more concerned about finishing the season in secok place rather than winning the English FA Cup.

Last season, Manchester City won all three domestic trophy, and this season they have retained their League cup after a win against Aston Villa in the final back in February.

Guardiola's side are in the semi final of English FA Cup, with a clash with Arsenal on July 18th.

Speaking during his press conference on Friday, Guardiola said: "This organisation wants to win titles, so of course this is not the perfect satisfaction but it's recognition that our opposition was incredible in this competition and we were not on that level.

"We cannot deny that the second [place] target is better than the FA Cup winner, the Carabao Cup winners, or the others and qualification for the Champions League, which all the other clubs are fighting for."

Meanwhile, Manchester City are hoping to better their last season result in the Champions League, as the have a second leg clash with Real Madrid haven won the first leg in Spain 2-1.

He added: "We were not the best, another team was, but we were better than the other 18 teams.

"This is the target to finish this season."

Just so you know,  Manchester City have won eight trophies in total under the Spanish tactician, including two Premier League titles, as well as FA Cups, Community Shield and League Cups.

The former Barcelona boss arrived England, after he was appointed as Manuel Pellegrini at Etihad Stadium in 2016.
He looked toward the sunset as he knelt in a field of wheat against a backdrop of a clear blue sky. Victoria uploaded the snap alongside a caption that read: ‘So happy to have @brooklynbeckham home with us. ‘We have missed you so much!! kisses @nicolaannepeltz x VB.’
