It was a difficult game but the draw was better than loss - Ronaldo reacts after 2-2 result against Atalanta

Atalanta held Juventus to a draw in Turin on Saturday night. Maurizio Sarri men were coming from a 4-2 loss against AC Milan during the mid week.

Cristiano Ronaldo twice scored for the league leaders from the penalty spot as Juventus to claim a point in a game which ended 2-2.

The away side had taken the lead when Duvan Zapata put the visitors into the lead as they dominated in the first half.

Juventus equalised after an handball call against Marten de Roon which allowed Ronaldo to convert from the spot.

Atalanta's substitute Ruslan Malinovskiy scored what looked like the winner in 80th-minute. Gian Piero Gasperini's in-form side were on course to their 10th straight league win. 

But Ronaldo was handed another penalty late in the game as both sides shared the points.

The former Manchester United star took ot his Twitter to react following the draw.

Ronaldo admitted that the game was difficult haben known Atalanta to be an attacking side who are currently racing to finish in  Champions League spot for next season.

"A difficult game but a very important point. Keep on fighting until the end 💪🏼 #FinoAllaFine," the former Real Madrid star captioned.
