Manchester United second-half of the season has been great with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer side crowning their efforts with a top four finish at the end of the Campaign.

The Red Devils were 18 points away from the top four spot before the season restarted, but Solskjaer's side ensured that a 2-0 win against Leicester City on final day was enough to finish third.

United only drew three times since the league restarted in June.

The Red Devils dominated the Premier League academy awards for the 2019-20. The award was conducted virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford ended the campaign with 17 goals to his name. The English international has been prolific in front of goal.

Marcus Rashford has been named winner of  the 2019/20 Academy Graduate award. He succeeded Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold who won the gong in previous season.

It's understood that the award is given to those who have come through the Academy system of a club and have inspired other youths with their performances.

Speaking on Manutd.com Rashford said: "Thank you very much, on behalf of the Academy. It's obviously a massive step up to get into the Manchester United first team but one that all the young kids are prepared to make because of the way the coaches coach them.

“It's definitely a big achievement and, like Mason [Greenwood] has done this year, and Brandon [Williams], hopefully there will be more who come through.”

Manchester United academy coach, Tony Whelan picked up the Eamonn Dolan award.  The award is aimed to recognise an individual or group making an exceptional contribution to football coaching and/or coach development within the Academy environment.

While youngster James Garner won the Goal of the Season award for Premier League 2.

The midfielder scored eight goals in 10 appearances in the division. He guided the Reds in second place in the table when football was halted due to coronavirus pandemic.
