Mesut Özil show off his new set of Nike boots after he dumped Adidas

Despite yet to feature for Arsenal since the league restarted, Mesut Özil has found a way to keep his fans update via his social media.

The Gunners play maker took to his social media space to flaunt his new set of boots.

Apparently, fans noticed his was holding onto a boot with a different he was previously known for.

It appears the former Real Madrid star has parted ways with Adidas, after he was showing off a new pair of classic Nike boots on Instagram on Thursday.

Mesut Özil has been a brand ambassador for the German kits maker . But at the moment, it seems both parties have decided to end their relationship.

Reports suggested last month that Ozil had been ‘dumped’ by the sportswear company due to concerns about his public image.

The German has faced serious critics from fans de to his performance so far this campaign.

He has struggled to rediscover the form he since he joined Arsenal in 2013.
