Yesterday, Villarreal appointed former Arsenal coach, Unai Emery as their new manager .
Recall that Emery was fired after poor results in his second season with the north London side last year December.
The former PSG boss replaced Arsene Wenger in 2018, and he guided Arsenal to the final of the Europa League final in Baku but lost to Chelsea in final.
In his first season, Unai Emery guided Arsenal to finish in the Europa League spot.
Fans called for the sacking of the former and Sevilla Valencia coach but board gave him a second spell chance. The club fell outside the top six spot and wre9in 13 position in the league heading into the January, and board made the decision to sack him and appointed Freddie Ljungberg as an interim manager.
Following successful contract talks with Mikel Arteta, he left his position as Pep Guardiola's assistant at Manchester City and joined Arsenal in January.
Speaking ahead of final day Premier League clash, Mikel Arteta congratulated Unai Emery in his press conference.
"I wish him all the best from our side. There are a lot of people here who liked him a lot and have huge respect for him. Thanks from myself for what he did here with the players and trying to improve to the team and the squad and I wish him all the best from our side. Hopefully, things will go well for him."
Arsenal will face Waford in their final game of the season this weekend.
